"the foods: some of the foods we ordered were amazing, some of them weren't. but one thing we highly recommend you to try; truffle pizza! it's mind-blowing. they have many variants of cocktails and i tried some of them, it was gooooood. i didn't like their iced americano, i think they could do better than that. there's no coffee taste in it. but overall, it was good. if you wanted to try good nasi lemak, order from here. their nasi lemak was the best, compared to what i have had in across Langkawi. the waiters are all helpful and welcoming. if you want to sit indoor, please make sure you made a reservation beforehand."

"We had an incredible dining experience at The Terrace, the Italian restaurant at The Danna Langkawi. The food was absolutely perfect — so flavorful and fresh that we ended up eating there two nights in a row! The atmosphere was also lovely — elegant yet relaxed, with great service that made us feel right at home. If you’re staying at The Danna or just in Langkawi, The Terrace is a must-visit for top-quality Italian cuisine."

"Great restaurant in Langkawi, very authentic italian food. The service is absolutely exceptional, the staff were very professional and knows the ins and outs of fine dining service. They were friendly and very attentive, excellent. The food was great, they are quite authentic and the quality definitely matched those in Europe. We had 4 courses and i am very satisfied with them all, unfortunately nothing really stands out for being unique or creative but the meal was fantastic nonetheless. The bill for 3 of us having 4 courses is 800MYR, which is high for a restaurant in Malaysia but very competitive when compared to foreign Italian fine dining. The atmosphere is very modern and welcoming, we chose the inside sitting and the room temperature was very comfortable. The design with high ceilings and large windows gave a good view of the pool and beach. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. The restaurant overall is exceptional and the service brings the experience to another level."

"Absolutely fantastic restaurant with beautiful food and equally beautiful service, led by the impressive Siamese "super server" Som Jot, who has a GIANT Eddie Murphy smile and clearly LOVES his job to the max. Despite the young Italian Head Chef having departed, his local proteges have excellently continued the perfect execution of his curated menu. Well done boys! They run a tight ship with "YES CHEF" booming through the restaurant as orders are accepted - Gordon Ramsay style. The watermelon carpaccio is gastronomic perfection with a palate stunning combination of colour, temperature (the watermelon "beef" is super chilled which adds to the magic), texture and taste. Alone that dish is worth a visit to Langkawi. We had to ask twice if we were eating watermelon or beef - Som Jot promised that it was an all plant based dish. WOW WOW WOW! Special mention also for the olive oil used for the gluten free bread (the Dana has perhaps the best gluten free pastry Chef on the island) - it is the really GOOD stuff. Gluten free pasta comes in three varieties and the pesto and the roast chicken were also delicious. Well done to the team at the Terrace and we look forward to our next visit."

The restaurant must have known it was my last night staying at The Danna when I dined. This was a thoughtful and warm gesture which made a memorable evening for me and my family! "When we arrived the staff were welcoming and provided good service. We chose an outdoor table expecting to enjoy the sunset view… however it did not meet our expectations. Later we were asked to move to an indoor table after some time. Overall, the price did not feel worth it compared to the atmosphere. The food was tasty but the menu options were limited."
